Keto Chicken Wraps

In this recipe, I used Jicama wraps from Trader Joe’s. You can find this in the Produce section. This is where I first saw these tasty wraps when I was browsing at Trader Joe’s. I’m not sure what other grocery stores carry Jicama Wraps. I did a search online and saw Jicama wraps at Melissa’s in LA, California. Also, I saw Jicama Tortillas at Whole Foods. I’m sure you can find Jicama raw and whole but you would have to slice them up very thinly. 😉 If you happen to find Jicama Wraps elsewhere, comment below!

If you cannot find Jicama Wraps in your area, try Coconut Wraps.

Ingredients:

  • Avocado Oil for the skillet
  • 1 package, 7.48 oz of Trader Joe’s Jicama Wraps
  • 1 pound ground chicken, defrosted
  • 1/2 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
  • A pinch of Chile Lime Seasoning from Trader Joe’s (Yes, I’m a Trader Hoe!) 🤣
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup of fresh salsa
  • 1 avocado, ripe and mashed
  • Squeeze of 1/2 a lime

Heat up a skillet and add avocado oil. Fry up the onion and garlic until golden brown. Add in the ground chicken and cook until golden brown. Remove from heat. Plate up some jicama slices. Add the ground chicken, mozzarella, fresh salsa, and spices. Mash up an avocado and squeeze some lime on top. I also topped it with bagel seasoning. 🥑🥑🥑

The texture gives a nice crunch and holds the ground chicken in very well. I really enjoyed giving jicama wraps a try. If you try it out, let me know what you thought of it! Enjoy! 😀
